The association
I Cavalli del Farma is a non-profit amateur sports association based in the small town of Monticiano. For several years we have been affiliated with Centro Sportivo Italiano.
The association was born in 2021 from the great passion for horses and country riding of two of the founding members Martina and Alessio. The objectives are precisely the practice and dissemination of country riding with respect for the health of the horse, but also the teaching of all those practices considered ancillary, but unfortunately equally important, that concern the management and welfare of this wonderful animal that allows us to practice our discipline.
Martina and Alessio, are among our members the most active and are involved in teaching horsemanship and following our students on their journey in this discipline.
Martina is a Veterinary Practitioner with experience in the hippity and small animal clinic, always interested in communication with animals, and is committed to finding an approach to training and management that reduces pathological stress as much as possible. Alessio, in addition to being a breeder, is an Equestrian Environmental Guide with extensive experience in weekly horseback riding trips. Out of personal interest years ago he undertook training in natural horse management and hoof balancing, which led him to occasionally ( time being what it is ) also undertake the profession of balancing.
